CalmWave, Inc.® (“CalmWave”) is committed to innovation and the protection of its intellectual property. Our proprietary technology, including but not limited to methods for alarm fatigue reduction, real-time alarm tuning, and patient degradation tracking, is protected by granted patents and pending applications in the United States and internationally. This Patent Protection & Licensing Policy outlines the rights, usage limitations, and compliance requirements associated with CalmWave’s patented technology.
CalmWave’s platform and associated technologies are protected under a broad and growing portfolio of patents covering alarm fatigue management, real-time signal processing, and incident detection across multiple industries.
CalmWave has a robust and expanding patent portfolio that includes utility, design, and international patents. Our intellectual property protections span multiple industries, including defense, agriculture, manufacturing, energy, and healthcare.
The CalmWave platform is designed to be industry-agnostic and applies to any domain that utilizes sensor data. Our technology monitors signals from sensors, applies alarm limits to identify anomalies, and reduces alarm fatigue by suppressing non-actionable alerts. Anomalies and actionable alarms are grouped into incidents, which in turn can be clustered into events for deeper operational insights.
This pattern was first developed for Enterprise IT Operations to combat alarm fatigue in Fortune 100 companies and later validated in Healthcare. The same approach applies, and is being protected, across Manufacturing, Defense, Energy, Agriculture, and more.
